My body did not make you,
God did.
My care does not make you grow,
God does.
My love does not make you complete,
God does.
My worry does not keep you safe,
God does.
My rules do not guide you,
God does.
My discipline does not shape you,
God does.
My encouragement does not fulfill you,
God does.
When you experience the cruel sides of life and I can not ease the pain,
God does.
But on this earth, until He can hold you,
I do.
